Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction management principles. This role involves inspection of the job sites during construction, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining quality control throughout the construction process.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage contracts and collaborate with subcontractors to ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Collect and analyze data related to project progress, identifying any issues that may arise during construction.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders regarding project updates and any potential challenges.
- Prepare reports on project status, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction site operations, including safety protocols and quality inspection processes.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on project needs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Familiarity with contract management and negotiation processes.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of work.
- Relevant certifications in construction management or safety are a plus.
