Overview: We are seeking to fill a temporary role for an onsite Construction Superintendent. The tentative work schedule is from July 23 to mid September. The job site is at Sportsmans Park in Aberdeen, ID 83210. Our company will be pulverizing, paving, and then striping the rest stop area for the US DOT. You will not be performing the actual construction work, you will be overseeing it being performed.
Duties:
-Ensure that the crew onsite is completing the project as required in the Plans
-Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure they are completing their scope when required to keep the project moving along smoothly
-Hold 3 phase inspections before a new definable feature of work is to be performed
-Supervise the work and convey any concerns to the company's management team
-Complete Daily Quality Control reports
-Be the Company's liaison to convey any questions or necessary information to the Client's inspector
Requirements:
-Must be available to be on-site while the work is being performed
-Previous construction experience, specifically in asphalt paving or road construction will be a plus
