Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable construction worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of repair and maintenance skills, enabling them to tackle various tasks efficiently in residential home maintenance, repair and some construction.
Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
- Utilize tools and equipment effectively to complete repairs and installations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Use an Ohmmeter for electrical testing and troubleshooting as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance or maintenance person roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with a variety of tools and repair techniques is essential.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and carpentry is required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while handling multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and management effectively.
