JOB SUMMARY: Provide regional leadership, technical assistance, and staff development to district and campus staff in the implementation of state testing/assessment procedures, school turnaround/improvement, grant, evaluation services, and district data tools.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
JOB KNOWLEDGE
Master’s degree required from and accredited university.
Three years of relevant experience.
Experience with testing/assessment/accountability procedures and protocols for all state assessments.
Experience in implementing and modifying curriculum in the core content areas in relation to state.
Knowledge or experience in working with federal and state programs, and grants.
Knowledge and experience with the implementation of Texas Accountability Intervention System.
Experience in evaluating and implementing effective instructional programs.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and expertise in facilitating groups.
Demonstrated effective job-related skills that model effective integration of technology.
Demonstrated competence with assisting others to appropriately integrate technology into the curriculum.
Proficiency with Google Docs and Google Hangout.
Proficiency with standard functions with electronic applications on both mobile and traditional devices (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, G Suite, Apps) and email.
Proficiency with computers (PCs and/or MACs) to include desktop management, file management and operations, and working in a network environment.

PRODUCTS/OUTCOMES
Provide support to all regional Local Education Agencies (LEAs) for state testing/assessment, school turnaround/improvement, and data management.
Provide technical support to assigned districts and charter schools to make effective decisions and increase student achievement by supporting and evaluating effective instructional programs.
Promote awareness of high quality instruction and accommodations that address the State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Provide information regarding current federal/state rules, compliance and regulations.
Promote, market, and support eduphoria!, TEKSbank and Data Management for Assessment and Curriculum (DMAC), and other tools, including links to Texas Curriculum Management Program Cooperative (TCMPC).
Support Center efforts in networking with and supporting district, campus and charter school staff in the core content areas.
Deliver a high level of high-quality services in a timely manner.
Develop marketing strategies for staff development and future training programs that reflect data-driven decisions.
Identify and use technology that supports core instructional programs.
Plan collaboratively with Center staff to develop long-range planning processes and performance outcome measures.

BUDGET RESPONSIBILITY
Participate in development, preparation, and administration of the budget for supplies, equipment, and facilities in area of assignment.

Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals.
Posture: Prolonged sitting/standing; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting.

Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds).

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Function within the policies and administrative procedures of ESC-20.
Accept other responsibilities as assigned.
Dress and groom appropriately for the ESC-20 work setting.
Travel independently to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
Serve at the will of the Executive Director.

These programs are implemented in compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory provisions. The duties associated with this position are allowable and allocable to the grant funding. Time and effort records for this position are in accordance with the requirements in the applicable Office of Management and Budget (OMB) cost principles.
