Hourly Rate: $64 per hour (Overtime is available for those interested.)
Shifts Available: First Shift -6 AM to 6 PM
Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the long-term care facility in Tucson, AZ. The RN will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to residents, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health status and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor residents' condition and response to treatments, and communicate any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of residents' medical records and progress notes.
Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
Qualifications:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care or a related healthcare setting preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
