We are looking for a Cost Estimator. Potential candidate works as part of the Cost Management
division and supports the Organization, assisting to develop cost estimating for variety of
projects using local market analysis. Provide superior client service and experience. Interact with
and review data required from all prime contractors and subcontractors for the projects, add cost
controls through construction administration.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop construction cost budgets from preliminary, schematic, design documents & construction
sitework and vendor items.
- Compare budget costs to benchmark pricing information, analyze quantities and scope items as
- Enhance overall cost controls service delivery by increasing efficiency and improving processes
- Support in developing and maintaining customers historical cost benchmark for various project
- Prioritize requests to meet or exceed the customers’ expectations
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Architecture, Engineering, or
- Qualified candidate shall have 3 to 5 years of experience in cost management and understanding
- Experience in Construction Management or Real Estate, preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Ability to regularly communicate analyzed data to client and team to achieve project
- Working knowledge of architectural & engineering drawings
- Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to support Business Development initiatives as assigned or
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with the customer’s executives, JLL
- Ability to successfully communicate with architects, engineers, contractors, client’s
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Project software (i.e., RS Means, Onscreen
Estimated total compensation for this position:
70,000.00 – 102,000.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
