The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You’ll contribute to all phases of the construction lifecycle, gaining exposure to complex, high-value projects while developing your technical and commercial skills.
Responsibilities:

- Help reconcile changes and verify contractor data for accuracy.
- Coordinate with the general contractor and owner’s project manager to gather project updates and assist in preparing revised cost estimates.
- Draft written comments on contractor submissions, including executive summaries.
- Compile and organize cost data from various sources, including suppliers, subcontractors, and design consultants.
- Contribute to engineering and design discussions by providing cost-related insights.
- Work with minimal supervision to help resolve scheduling and cost-related issues.
- Assist in cost checks and valuations on larger projects.
- Support timely and accurate cost checking and valuation processes.
- Participate in post-contract cost variance tracking and change control processes.
- Help manage contingency tracking and commitment logs.
- Assist in preparing funding data presentations and value engineering (VE) session materials.
- Contribute to cost planning and updates at key design milestones.
- Provide input to design optioneering and value engineering exercises.
- Support contractor and subcontractor pricing reviews and negotiations.
- Perform quantity surveying, cost control, and change management tasks across the project lifecycle.
- Help manage post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
- Assist with cost auditing and validation processes.
- Contribute to the production of monthly cost reports for client review.
- Support the final account negotiation and close-out process.
- Maintain as-built cost records for benchmarking purposes.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture.
- Follow internal systems and tools to ensure consistent delivery of best practices.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
Project/Program specifications:
- Experience in data center construction is strongly preferred; similar experience in semiconductor, battery, or large industrial projects will also be considered.
- Projects may include multi-billion-dollar data center campuses with multiple buildings and complex infrastructure.
- Familiarity with MEP systems and their integration into large-scale construction projects is beneficial.
Qualifications

- Progress toward RICS accreditation is preferred.
- Experience supporting cost management on medium to large-scale construction projects.
- Prior experience in a construction consultancy environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, procurement methods, and cost control principles.
