JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the collection and verification of gaming revenue in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, Federal and State laws governing monetary transactions and company policies, procedures and controls. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of Seneca Gaming and Entertainment’s policies and procedures, NIGC Minimum Internal Control Standards, and SGA Tribal Internal Control Standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain security and accountability of gaming funds located in the Count Room during shift.
2. Responsible for pulling cash boxes from slot machines.
3. Ensures the integrity of all Count Team transactions.
4. Assists in counting money and reconciling gaming revenue.
5. Maintain all records, reports and other required paperwork for the department.
6. Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have excellent math skills and be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
