Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Server/Cashier to join our team. As a Server/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a timely and friendly manner
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers
- Enter orders into the cash register or POS system
- Process payments using cash, credit cards, or mobile payment options
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred
- Familiarity with cash registers and basic math skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
