Job Title: CPST/PSR Counselor (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Location: Covington & Mandeville, Louisiana
Employment Type: Full-Time Preferred (Part-Time Considered)

About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate and qualified CPST (Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment) and PSR (Psychosocial Rehabilitation) Counselors to join our team in the Covington and Mandeville areas. The ideal candidates will have a strong interest in working with individuals experiencing mental health conditions and/or substance use disorders, and who may have histories of trauma.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver CPST and/or PSR services in-person, with some telehealth options available for CPST.
- Work with clients to promote stability, recovery, and skill-building in areas such as emotional regulation, interpersonal relationships, coping strategies, and independent living skills.
- Maintain accurate documentation and service records in compliance with Medicaid and agency standards.
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors and other team members to ensure comprehensive and client-centered care.
- Develop and follow treatment plans tailored to client needs.
Requirements:
CPST Counselor Candidates Must Have One of the Following:
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC or PLPC)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LMSW)
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
PSR Counselor Candidates Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or a related human services field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with clients affected by trauma, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse populations
- Self-motivated and capable of managing a flexible schedule
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Flexible hours – make your own schedule
- Primarily in-person service delivery required
- Telehealth may be used occasionally for CPST services, but in-person treatment is preferred and prioritized
