ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for a Creative Designer to join our dynamic in-house team. This role will work collaboratively with our production artist and report directly to the Brand Manager, playing a key role in executing and refining the creative vision for marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand assets. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, a strong communicator, and a highly skilled designer with a keen eye for detail and a passion for branding.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design Development:Create compelling digital and print assets that align with brand standards and marketing objectives.
  • Campaign Execution:Assist in the execution of creative materials for marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional efforts.
  • Brand Consistency:Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to across all touchpoints, maintaining a cohesive visual identity.
  • Copy & Proofreading Support:Assist in the development of copy and proofreading for all assets across print, digital, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with the Brand Manager and production artist to refine creative output and execute high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Creative Problem-Solving:Bring innovative ideas to the table, troubleshoot design challenges, and contribute to improving overall creative execution.
  • Multi-Channel Asset Creation:Develop assets for social media, website, email, packaging, in-store displays, and other marketing materials.
  • Flexibility: Additional tasks assigned by leadership

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in the cannabis, CPG, or lifestyle industries.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other design software.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work across digital and print mediums.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to proofread and ensure accuracy in all developed assets.
  • Deadline-Oriented: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple projects.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a willingness to take feedback and refine designs based on team input.

SKILLS

  • Passion for branding, typography, and visual storytelling
  • Strong layout and composition skills
  • Interest in digital and print marketing trends
  • Enthusiasm for collaborating with creative and marketing teams
  • Proficiency in motion graphics or animation is a plus
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and design consistency
  • Strong eye for design and branding.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.


REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design or a related creative role.
  • Portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital and print design.
  • Experience working in marketing, branding, or consumer goods industries preferred.
  • Knowledge of layout, typography, and visual storytelling.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Per state law, must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check.
  • Must pass a drug screening

WORK ENVIRONMENT


This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines.

Regular and predictable attendance is essential.


POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This position will sometimes require long hours and weekend work/holiday.


TRAVEL

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
