ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Add, document and label parts in inventory
- Document and scan documentation added to inventory
- Issue crib items and coordinate recovery of those items when project is complete
- Coordinate with Maintenance and appropriate Plant employees to reconcile discrepancies on part numbers or quantities
- Receive and sign for items from vendors
- Create Purchase Requisitions for rebuilds/repair as requested
- Create Purchase Requisitions for quotes to repair/replace parts from vendors
- Organize, stock and restock for repairs, rebuilds, new parts and any other Crib items as required
- Inventory crib items and make adjustments as needed based on count discrepancies and location changes
- Conduct general daily housekeeping (i.e.; dust file drawers, sweep floor and aisles, remove trash from crib)
- Break-down, bail and stage cardboard in designated areas as required
- Prepare recycled printer cartridges for proper disposal
- Provide required supplies to cleaning crew as requested
- Work on special projects and 5S as assigned
- Check attendant inventory packet from previous shift(s) and adjust discrepancies if needed
- Utilize Forklift and hand trucks to move large crib items
- Prepare, print and review End of shift documentation for accuracy
Other Requirements:
- Current Fork Lift Driver certification, or the ability to acquire certification
- Working knowledge of inventory software preferred
- Regular and predictable attendance required
- Cooperate within teams to carry out tasks and responsibilities
- Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may be required as work load or projects dictate, including weekends and holidays
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Basic/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- High level of accuracy in executing day-to-day job responsibilities
- Outstanding customer service-based attitude
- Hands-on approach to problem solving and analysis
- Excellent Analytical Skills
- Ability to work independently
Years of Experience:
- 1-3 years of Crib experience in a manufacturing environment preferred or,
- 1-3 years’ experience in retail stocking or order picking preferred
