## Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and possess a passion for culinary excellence. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.
-We are OPEN 12 months out of the year serving Horse Shows and Indoor Motor Sports as well as other groups that are booked at the Horse Arena. Hours may vary based on each group. Most weekends are 7am to 5pm. State Registered Horse Associations require food to be available till their last class starts. 8 or 9pm. We also do Catering for several of the Horse Shows. During the Fair we are open 7am to 10pm.
## Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Cook and prepare menu items according to set recipes.
- Ensure food preparation areas are clean and hygienic (ServSafe Certification will be needed) We can help you get it if needed.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist Chef with supplies needs list
- Follow food safety standards and guidelines
- Collaborate with Manager and Owner when needed.
## Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is required
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
