Position Overview The Culinary Front of House (FOH) Team Member is responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience at Caprae. This role requires a balance of hospitality, efficiency, and teamwork to ensure smooth restaurant operations. FOH Team Members serve as the face of Caprae, guiding guests through our menu, managing reservations, preparing beverages, and ensuring a warm, welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Service:
● Provide a friendly and engaging experience for all guests.
● Guide diners through the menu, including allergen and dietary accommodations. ● Make and serve beverages, including cocktails, wine, and beer.
● Host and manage reservations, ensuring smooth seating and service flow. Operations & Collaboration
● Work closely with the kitchen team to coordinate seamless service.
● Maintain cleanliness and organization in guest-facing areas.
● Handle transactions and process orders accurately and efficiently. Team & Culture ● Support a positive, team-oriented work environment.
● Learn and share Caprae’s story, including our farm, dairy, and creamery. Qualifications & Skills
● Friendly, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.
● Experience in hospitality or food service is a plus but not required.
● Ability to multitask and remain efficient in a fast-paced environment.
● Willingness to learn about our menu and farm operations.
● Reliable and team-oriented mindset.
● Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (if applicable by state law). Compensation & Benefits
● Hourly Pay: $15-$20 per hour, based on experience (this is a non-tipped position).
● Service Charge Model: A service charge is added to dinner purchases to support wages and benefits for the entire farm team—including the culinary team at Caprae, the dairy team caring for our goats and land, and the creamery team crafting our award-winning cheeses.
