Job Title: Custodial Technician
Reports to: Supervisor, Hospital Administrator / Office Manager
Overall Responsibility: The Custodial Technician is responsible for the cleanliness of the hospital. Due to the nature of the hospital, the Custodial Technician may be asked to work any day of the week, month, or year.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Be on time and stay late when needed
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning checklists on time and as scheduled
Examples: Mop daily
Clean and mop restrooms
Empty all trash cans
Replace indoor filters
Power wash
Clean all door kick plates
Dust tops of monitors and equipment in exam rooms
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Always be willing to help other team members and departments
- Facilitate, encourage and support communication between staff and departments to ensure the smooth operation of the hospital
- Attend to tasks assigned by the supervisor, Doctor, Hospital Administrator or Manager
- Be able to lift pets up to 50lbs 10 times every day
- Be able to bend, lift, kneel and for extended periods of time
- Work with fecal matter, urine, blood, and cleaning chemicals
- Wash, dry and put away dishes
- Stock items in assigned storage areas
- To ensure the safety of clients, pets and their colleagues
- Obey all clinic policies and procedures as well as under their responsibilities under OSHA and other regulatory agencies

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
