Lyne Laboratories is looking for a Full-Time Custodian to contribute to the Facilities Department’s daily operations. Lyne Laboratories, with more than 40 years of experience, is a privately held, well-established company with a successful history of manufacturing liquid, semi-solid and powder formulations of both prescription and OTC products.
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of a manufacturing facility to ensure a safe and productive work environment. This involves cleaning production areas, restrooms, break rooms, laboratories, offices, and other common spaces, as well as handling waste disposal and performing minor maintenance tasks. They may also be involved in inventory management and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming and waxing floors.
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms and breakrooms.
- Dusting and cleaning surfaces, including machinery, equipment, and furniture.
- Washing windows, walls, and ceilings.
- Emptying trash receptacles and managing waste disposal.
- Operating cleaning equipment like floor buffers and carpet cleaners.
- Maintain the parking lot and outside of the building.
- Clean HVAC Vents
- Change light bulbs and air filters.
- Assist with now and debris removal from parking lot and walkways.
- Keeping track of cleaning supplies and reordering as needed.
- Organizing and maintaining the storage area for cleaning supplies.
- Assisting with the setup and cleanup for meetings and events.
- Assist with any other necessary duties.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Physical Demand: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

- Ability to Follow Instructions: Adhering to cleaning schedules, safety procedures, and company policies.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
