Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Cabinet Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the professional installation of custom cabinetry in residential and commercial spaces, ensuring precision, functionality, and high-quality finishes. This role requires knowledge of woodworking, cabinetry systems, and construction best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install custom cabinets, shelves, and other woodwork according to project specifications and blueprints.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, design plans, and job orders.
- Measure and mark installation points to ensure accurate placement.
- Modify or adjust cabinets on-site as needed to fit irregular spaces.
- Ensure all installations are secure, level, and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with designers, contractors, and clients to resolve issues or changes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Use power tools, hand tools, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform touch-ups, caulking, and finishing as needed.
- Handle materials and cabinetry carefully to prevent damage during transport and installation.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years (required) of experience in custom cabinet installation or finish carpentry.
- Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and work in tight or awkward spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
