Summary:
The Customer Relations Representative role collects, verifies, enters and monitors appropriate patient data and ensures all necessary paperwork is completed and signed by the patient in order to admit for services. Verifies patient demographic and insurance coverage.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- License/Certifications: Certified Healthcare Access Associate preferred.
- Experience: Computer experience required. One year customer service or data entry experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
- Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
- Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Familiarity with healthcare billing and diagnostic coding
