Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist them with their inquiries in a professional manner.
- Provide information on store product to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using a cash register.
- Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves as necessary and taking notes on low inventory.
- Sort through numerous fruits and vegetables thoroughly, checking for freshness, and throwing out any bad produce properly.
- Keep a clean and organized workspace at all times, allowing customers to feel welcome into a tidy store
- Organize and arrange product displays neatly for a more inviting atmosphere
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in grocery or retail
- Strong cash handling skills and knowledge in basic math
- Excellent in-person and over the phone communication with staff members as well as customers
- Knowledge in fruit and other produce
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility and availability. Looking for someone who is willing to work closing shifts and weekends.
- Must be 21+ years old
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 28 per week
