About Us
Hyphen Space is The Boba Plug's newest concept. It is a bridge between a Co-Working Space, Provisional Cafe, and Gallery Space. We are looking to grow a creative community through our unique concept. Before opening Hyphen, The Boba Plug started off in 2020 doing traveling boba pop-ups throughout DFW. Our aim was to create high quality and creative drinks inspired by our Asian American experience while collaborating to uplift small owned businesses. We are a proud Asian American owned small business.

Looking For
- Friendly, passion, positive personality with excellent customer service skills
- You are self-motivated and a proactive team player
- You can work in both a slow paced and fast paced environment
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors
- Able to handle intense and challenging situations
- Open availability, flexible hours, willingness to work weekends and some holidays
- At least 1 year customer service experience
- 1 Year barista experience (coffee and/or boba experience preferred)
- 1 Year of Cooking experience preferred
- Food Handler’s Certification
Cashier & Barista Responsibilities
- Working the register, greeting, & checking in customers
- Explaining our concept to customers and answer their questions
- Learning to craft beverages on the menu and to the needs of customers
- Following verbal & written instructions in order to maintain drink quality and consistency
- Cooking boba
- Assisting other team members as needed
- Adhere to food and safety guidelines
- Restocking teas, toppings, cups, straws, inventory and other needed items
- Maintaining a clean and organized work station and storefront
- Washing equipment/dishes, taking out the trash & recycling, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and other cleaning chores
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
