Customer Service Engineer


Jackson Systems, an award-winning distributor of HVAC controls, is currently seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Customer Service Engineer to join our growing team! The Customer Service Engineers (or CSE’s as we call them at HQ), are our first line of defense. These are the individuals speaking directly with customers, providing them with world-class service over the phone, through email, or in person at our showroom. Our normal office hours are from 7:00am – 6:00pm. The right candidate must be able to work 9:00pm - 6:00pm, with flexibility to work any hours within this period. The schedule may vary slightly as coverage needs change.

Details, Details:

  • Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding order status, product, and technical information inquiries
  • Provide technical assistance to various internal divisions as well as customers with diverse demographics
  • Aid customers via phone, in our showroom and electronically (email/online chat/technical app) and provides world-class service
  • Process customer orders/changes/returns.
  • Restock and replenish showroom inventory and literature, set up counter promos, updates prices for products within the showroom
  • Create a weekly showroom inventory report, electronically file invoices, audit will call orders regularly
  • Partner with the sales team to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations
  • Stay current on processes, products, and technical knowledge
  • Build relationships with customers, and maintains the data integrity of the CRM database
  • Provide world class technical support to customers
  • Must be familiar with Controlled Holdings catalog of products (with a strong emphasis on troubleshooting our Manufactured products)
  • Work with test equipment and tools, as necessary, to solve technical problems
  • Attend various trainings as needed (in-house and factory)
  • Other technical duties as assigned

  • Electrically/Mechanically inclined, strong technical background preferred
  • Trades Experience, Engineering or Technology degree is preferred, but not required
  • Exceptional Computer Skills, including Microsoft O365
  • Exemplary Customer Service Skills
  • Inventive and Creative Spirit
  • A constant desire to continue learning
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
  • Well organized and able to prioritize appropriately
  • Eye for process improvement
