Schedule for this position is 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday – Friday with a 1- hour lunch.
Duties for Customer Service Representative include but not limited to:
- Assist in answering high volume, multi-line phone system, and directing calls to appropriate departments
- All things Customer Service (e.g. updating order status’, shipping information, sending confirmations to customers, filing FedEx, UPS Claims etc.)
- Take customer calls and provide accurate, satisfactory answers to their queries and concerns
- Troubleshoot basic product or order issues and guide customers through solutions or website navigation.
- Answering inbound email requests (Info, Orders, Warranty, Upgrade Email Accounts)
- Distribute incoming email requests to appropriate internal teams, such as Sales (Retail or B2B), Marketing, etc.
- Review customer accounts while communicating updates related to billing, shipping, and warranty information to customers.
- Initiate and manage warranty claims professionally and accurately.
- Identify product or compatibility issues and communicate them to the Customer Service Supervisor.
- Track and report customer feedback to help drive continuous improvement in products and services.
- Stay knowledgeable about emerging off-road vehicles and related trends, including model variations and updates.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all current and legacy Baja Designs and sPOD products.
- Stay current on new product releases and technical specifications through ongoing training.
- Data entry in ERP system (NetSuite experience is a plus!)
- Other administrative support as necessary/requested
- Promote and embody the Baja Designs brand through excellent customer interaction.
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
Requirements to succeed in this role
- Must have a minimum of 4-5 years of Customer Service experience.
- Type 50+ WPM
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Genysys, Sage and NetSuiteAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
- Professional, Customer First attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Be able to organize, prioritize and multi-task to complete daily tasks with minimum supervision
- Have the ability to use independent judgment when needed
- Be dedicated, motivated, and have a strong work ethic
- Team player, Positive attitude
- Ability to de-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers while offering patient assistance and support
- Be responsible, punctual and dependable
This position allows room for growth and additional responsibilities, so we are looking for someone with the drive to excel!
Pay: $19 - $20.00/hr.
