Department: Customer Service (Level 1)/Administration Reports to: Lead CSR/Office Manager
Position Overview:
The customer service representative is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships while supporting additional representatives in answering and directing incoming calls, Processing customer orders and payments, and general office work. This position requires strong attention to detail as well as exceptional organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Document and update customer accounts for all communication
- Responsible for handling customer account order requests including delivery, pickup, adds, relocations, and special service of equipment and pricing with understanding of customer needs. Upselling all commodities
- Customer follow up for nonperformance, pick up orders and potential new jobs
- Maintaining customer work orders with accuracy
- Follow up on customer account applications
- Filing of customer files, paperwork, etc.
- Process daily invoice emails, and credit card transactions
- Additional office responsibilities as required
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with standard business hours
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years office/customer service experience. Construction experience helpful, not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and exception organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to read and understand invoices and customer statements
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Work well as a team member and independently in fast paced environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 32 per week
