Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.
We are actively seeking a skilled Data Analyst in Princeton, NJ. The Data Analyst will play a key role in interpreting complex data sets, with a strong focus on financial and revenue analysis. You will leverage your expertise in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis techniques to provide actionable insights that support business decision-making. This position requires a detail-oriented mindset and a solid understanding of financial principles. This is an onsite opportunity
Starting Salary: $65,000.00 per year
Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets to derive insights and identify trends
- Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies to optimize efficiency and data quality
- Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Perform statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to uncover patterns and correlations in the data
- Analyze revenue data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Monitor and reconcile revenue streams to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Develop and maintain revenue forecasting models to support financial planning and budgeting processes
- Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actual and forecasted revenue
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand revenue drivers and provide insights to optimize revenue generation
- Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
- Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science, or related field
- 3+ years’ experience with Python and Power BI
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis techniques
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
