Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data analysis and visualization, a strong command of SQL, proficiency with APIs, and hands-on experience with AWS, SFTP, EDI processes, C#, and additional technical proficiencies such as Active Directory, Software Debugging, SSL, and Amazon Workspaces. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to help our organization make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards.
- Extract, clean, and transform data from SQL databases and other sources.
- Work with APIs to automate data collection and integration.
- Manage SFTP and other data exchange processes to ensure seamless transfer of critical information.
- Implement and maintain EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) workflows, ensuring smooth communication between systems and trading partners.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to analyze and retrieve data efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Implement data processing and analytical solutions on AWS platforms.
- Utilize C# for scripting, integration, and automation tasks.
- Configure and manage Active Directory to enhance security and user access.
- Debug software to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Ensure data security and integrity through SSL configurations.
- Leverage Amazon Workspaces for remote access and productivity solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
Qualifications Required
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience in data analysis or a similar role.
Technical Skills:
- Strong SQL programming and database management skills.
- Experience with API integration and data retrieval.
- Proficiency in AWS tools and services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Lambda).
- Experience managing SFTP connections and secure file transfer processes.
- Familiarity with EDI formats (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and workflows.
- Working knowledge of C#.
Preferred:
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Software Debugging, SSL, and Amazon Workspaces.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
