Role Overview:
The Unison Data Migration Consultant roles are hands-on resources, that operate as part of a team and will be involved in the design and development of various solutions using the Talend Data Services platform, a low code tool kit for extensibility and data migration built on an open-source foundation. Preferably this resource would be skilled in a variety of software languages and practices, such as Java, Apache Camel, CXF, ETL, SOAP/REST Web Services, and have experience of integration principles and patterns. Experience with SQL and database design is also a plus for this position.
- Design and develop solutions as needed for Data Migration efforts.
- Ability to troubleshoot and research issues, design framework, and be proactive in expanding knowledge.
- Ability to use a wide variety of technologies and tools to assist with development, testing, and maintenance of integrations.
- Be a team player and recommend process improvements where observed.
- Be an active participant in documenting code, processes, and procedures of the development team.
- Must be able to thrive in a client facing work environment.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum three years of overall integration experience.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Strong PLSQL and SQL Loader experience preferred.
- Strong preference given to those with experience with Unison’s PRISM.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment.
