Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at HaloMD. HaloMD is a dynamic, hyper-growth Healthcare Technology company that is at the leading edge of leveraging data and analytics.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent programming skills, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business insights and strategy. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead complex projects and work closely with stakeholders to design and implement data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Modeling: Design, develop, and deploy complex machine learning models and statistical analyses to solve business problems and provide actionable insights.
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage data science projects from conception to deployment, ensuring high-quality deliverables within deadlines.
- Data Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data science strategies and align them with business goals.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and data analysts.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate complex data findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively and clearly, using advanced data visualizations.
- Data Infrastructure: Work closely with data engineering teams to develop scalable data pipelines and implement best practices for data management and governance.
- Research & Development: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data science and machine learning to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
- Education: Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data science or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully delivering data-driven projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
- Strong experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and MLOps frameworks.
- Strong experience with supervised and unsupervised ML models and applications.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with data manipulation and transformation.
- Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
- Familiarity with GenAI models and concepts
- Analytical Skills: Strong statistical analysis skills and experience with predictive modeling, classification, clustering, and time-series forecasting.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
