Description:
Responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining SharePoint environments (Online or On- Premises), including managing site collections, permissions, and security policies to ensure secure and efficient collaboration. They monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, apply updates, and implement backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard data. Additionally, they integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Power Platform), automate tasks via PowerShell, enforce governance policies, and provide user training and support to optimize SharePoint’s functionality and alignment with organizational needs. Tasks include:
- Provide technical instructions which shall outline how solutions were created, detailed processes which the solutions are based on, and instructions or rules regarding how the solutions are to be used by the customer.
- Develop and maintain websites, sub-sites, and pages on private and public facing SharePoint servers within US Fleet Forces-owned-or-approved environments.
- Remain current on latest Command SharePoint best practices and policies provided by the US Fleet Forces and Naval Information Forces.
- Maintain SharePoint Legacy portal as well as File share in SharePoint Portal Online (SPO)
- Coordinate with departments to establish, maintain, and develop their sites and SPO.
- Develop a SharePoint SOP for users.
- Prepare SharePoint briefs and presentation to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with proper command security protocols.
- Provide systems design, development, integration, and implementation support for one public website.
- Develop business processes and automated workflows, as required, to support two portal sites with subsites and one public website.
- Perform customer service functions as a part of an existing support staff in support of public website and portals. Requests for issue resolution and technical support must be addressed within two (2) business days. The Contractor shall field up to 50 requests for support per day. The contractor may suggest and implement changes at the direction of the government to the existing systems used for issue resolution and change requests in the spirit of continual service improvement.
- Create, edit, and reverse-engineer SharePoint workflows.
- Design and facilitate group sessions on topics related to Information Technology, SharePoint, and IT system support.
Clearance: Secret Clearance:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or a related discipline
- Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) required.
- At least five years’ experience SharePoint tools, workflow, site customization.
