DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP)
* Part-time up to 28 hours per week (8:45 am – 2:00/2:15 pm) Monday-Friday
We are seeking part-time staff to join our team to work with adults with Intellectual Disabilities/Developmental Disabilities. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the person with life skills, daily living activities, personal hygiene (bend, lift, stoop, transfer, etc.), recreational activities and other planned activities. These activities will be facility AND community based.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED - Must present at interview
- Must be at least twenty-one (21 years of age) - due to insurance coverage
- Satisfactorily pass screenings: MVR (driving record); Criminal background check; TB skin test
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities: 1 year (Preferred)
- Experience in teaching or human services (Preferred)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.30 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
