Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Daytime Custodian to work in a single, high-end facility. The custodian will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and the overall appearance of the building during daytime hours.
Since the work will be performed around tenants, staff, and visitors, the ideal candidate must be friendly, professional, and able to interact politely with others. Basic English communication skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles
- Refill paper, soap, and other supplies
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order
- Follow safety protocols and company cleaning procedures
- Respond to cleaning requests from building staff or management during shift
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, but not required (training provided)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Friendly and professional demeanor when working around people
- Basic English speaking and understanding
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical cleaning tasks
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
