Overview:
The position of Deepwater I&E/Compliance Technician involves maintaining control systems on the platform, including calibration of equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance and complete compliance testing, and assisting in the development of instrumentation and electrical (I&E) maintenance plans. A key aspect of the role is strict adherence to all safety standards to ensure a secure working environment.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 5+ years instrumentation / electrical experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably in an offshore environment on a production platform
- Experience with 14c & Yokogawa is a plus
- Experience with SEMS plans, policies and procedures and completion of compliance paperwork.
- Familiarity with BSEE/USCG/EPA safety, environmental testing, and related programs.
- Experience in testing Fire and Gas devices, subsea safety valve testing, etc.
- Good organizational skills are necessary along with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent writing skills are required.
- Strong interpersonal skills are required.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other related software required.
- Should be familiar with production equipment.
- Organizational skills to maintain platform.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills in a team environment.
- Safety-oriented.
- Real ID driver's license or current passport required.
