In addition to having the highest quality standards, we are known for our exceptional customer service and highly knowledgeable staff. An existing knowledge of natural products is appreciated, but not required. All store associates will be trained on our offerings and have access to resources for continuing education.
We are looking for FT friendly and reliable team members to join our Deli Team at our newest location in Lakewood Ranch, FL!
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in selecting deli products
- Prepare and serve sandwiches, salads, and other deli items according to customer preferences
- Upsell additional products or specials to increase sales
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area, including food preparation surfaces, utensils, and equipment
- Stock shelves and refrigerated cases with deli products
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations during food preparation and storage
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team
Other Requirements:
- Ability to lift 40lbs, stand throughout shift, stoop and bend to lift items.
