We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling a variety of delicious sandwiches while ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques to ensure the highest quality standards.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, including upselling menu items to enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Assist in training new staff members on sandwich preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and point-of-sale (POS) systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Strong culinary skills with the ability to create appealing sandwich presentations.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
