Job Summary
SLCUSD is looking for a full-time Delivery and Transportation Specialist for our Transportation Department. The Delivery and Transportation Specialist is responsible for coordinating and implementing the District Inter/Intra Office mail delivery system as well as supporting the Transportation office in the tracking, communication, and processing of transportation functions. Successful candidates will have experience equivalent to one year operating a truck or large vehicle and/or making deliveries, a high school diploma or equivalent, and will possess a valid California driver's license, with an approved driving record. Additionally, the selected candidate will participate in District-provided training for Forklift Operator Certification. The anticipated schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break daily.
