Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods such as mobility scooters, electric scooters, wheelchairs and small-parts inventory to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and have experience in route driving and have their own vehicle capable of carrying 4-5 electric scooters at at a time if needed. Additionally, you will support the shop with light tasks when delivery volume is low.
Primary Location: Central Scoot - Boston, MA - 199 State Street, Boston MA 02109
Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 1:00 - 3:00 PM daily however can be flexible. If able to work Sundays and take a weekday off instead would be even better. Average ~14 hours/week. Some days are quick (1-hour), others may be longer (up to 3 hours)
Pay: $18/hour + $.70/mile for gas/vehicle wear & tear.
Duties
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring items are secured for transport.
- Drive to designated locations following established routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
- Assist in moving items as needed, demonstrating physical capability for heavy lifting tasks.
Experience

Requirements
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to lift and maneuver scooters and mobility equipment (approx. 40–80 lbs)
- Reliable transportation that can carry 4-5 scooters at a time if needed (van or large vehicle a plus, but not required). Please note you are using YOUR own vehicle. You will be reimbursed by time worked as well as $.70/mile for gas/vehicle wear & tear.
