Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver/production worker to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting refrigerated goods in a safe, timely manner to customers while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Safely drive company vehicles to deliver products to customers in a timely manner
- Load and unload products from the vehicle and ensure proper handling
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking oil, water, and gas levels
- Adhere to traffic laws and maintain a safe driving record
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Familiarity with route driving and using GPS devices
- Capability to lift heavy packages and operate pallet jacks/forklift
- Experience working in a warehouse or courier environment is a plus
