Job Description:
US Gas is seeking a motivated and dependable individual for a combination role as a Delivery Driver & Cylinder Handler. This dual role involves delivering gas cylinders to customers in a safe and timely manner, as well as performing warehouse duties, including loading, unloading, and organizing cylinders. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver gas cylinders to customer locations using company vehicles.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicles and maintain accurate logs.
- Handle and transport cylinders, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cylinders from trucks using proper equipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and labeling.
- Inspect cylinders for damage, leaks, and compliance with safety standards.
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid CDL (Class A or B) with Hazmat and Air Brake endorsements preferred.
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
- Previous experience in gas delivery or warehouse handling is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
