Delivery Driver - Lincoln Nebraska Location

Job Summary
7 Day Furniture is looking for a Delivery Driver to join our team! As a Delivery Driver, you are a key member of the team! You are responsible for delivering household goods to our clients. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.
This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, energetic, and enjoy helping people. Ideally, you are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes
• Assemble Furniture in customer homes when it is called for
• Follow route and schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
• Ability to deliver furniture in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.
• Must be able to keep a clean driving record

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (you must be insurable with our insurance)
• Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles, i.e., box truck and pickup truck
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
• 1 year experience driving a 26 foot box truck (not required but preferred)

Schedule:

• Tuesday through Saturday 9 AM to 6 PM
