We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the delivery of goods, ensuring that all items are loaded, unloaded, and transported safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service. Responsibilities
- Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading items from the vehicle.
- Ensure that all packages are secured properly during transit.
- Help navigate routes and provide support in delivering goods to various locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Handle heavy lifting and moving of boxes and equipment as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
- Adhere to safety protocols while driving and handling goods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Delivery Helper, Warehouse Associate, or similar role is preferred.
- Ability to operate a box truck or van; experience with manual transmission is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with delivery routes and local geography is advantageous.
