Strittmatter Companies is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Demolition Foreman to lead field operations across multiple active demolition sites. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage teams effectively, ensure project milestones are met, and maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and communication. As Demolition Foreman, you will collaborate closely with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory representatives to drive operational excellence and support the successful execution of our demolition projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee daily field operations across multiple demolition sites in alignment with project goals and schedules.
- Lead on-site personnel, promoting a strong culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
- Communicate regularly with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure transparency and compliance.
- Ensure field employees are performing to expectations and that all progress is accurately documented and reported in a timely manner.
- Conduct daily/weekly safety meetings, including toolbox talks, and enforce adherence to safety protocols.
- Interpret and execute project plans, specifications, and schedules with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify operational efficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Support the coordination and logistical planning of dump truck operations and other site-specific equipment needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience supervising demolition projects, preferably in commercial or large-scale residential environments.
- Demonstrated commitment to job site safety and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, site plans, and technical specifications.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage teams and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of heavy equipment operations and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with trucking logistics, including dump truck scheduling and time management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience with construction software such as Heavy Jobs or similar platforms.
Additional Requirements:
- Availability to work weekends based on project timelines and site demands.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and perform physical tasks as needed.
