Job Summary:
No previous experience needed for this open opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at a busy dental clinic. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic and provide exceptional support to our dentist.
Duties:
- Assist dentist with patient care, including preparing treatment rooms, and providing emotional support to patients.
- Prepare dental equipment and instruments for procedures, maintaining cleanliness and adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Assist with dental procedures, including radiographs, fillings, and extractions, under the supervision of licensed professionals.
- Operate dental equipment, such as X-ray machines, and ensure proper calibration and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient charts and dental terminologies.
- Perform medical coding and documentation as needed.
- Participate in infection control and sterilization procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients.
- Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and maintain a positive and supportive work environment. - Basic front desk help in phone answering and appointments setting
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to maintain aseptic technique and ensure proper infection control measures are in place.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Willing to learn new skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 38 per week
