Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for patient care and possess knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
This is a full time position: Mondays Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am-6:00 pm
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and office duties as needed - Clean and restock the rooms-Assist the hygenist as needed-Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort - Sterilize instruments according to regulations - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures - Take X-rays or dental impressions - Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures-Assist with front desk needs
Experience:
- Experience in "Four handed dentistry" techniques - Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology - Knowledge of medical documentation and imaging processes - Familiarity with 3D scanning technology in dentistry - Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist is a plus - Exposure to Prosthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry is advantageous - Proficiency in Dentrix software is preferred
