We are a team based work environment where we focus on providing excellent professional care for our patients. We prefer work experience for this position but it is not mandatory. You will need to have or be in the process of obtaining a dental assisting credential with certificates for radiography (xrays), sealants and nitrous oxide monitoring. You must be able to handle a wide range of patients and procedures with a good professional attitude. Our office offers a wide range of care and procedures so our assistants need to be able to do ( or learn to do)the following:
two, four and six handed chair side assisting,
sterilization of instruments and preparation of a sterile field
setup and tear down of rooms for: fillings, crowns, extractions, I.V. sedation, implants, bone and tissue grafting, pediatric dentistry, clear aligners, teeth whitening, root canals, Botox and
scheduling of patients
treatment plan review
capture and process digital xrays, CBCT, alginate impressions, PVS impressions and digital impressions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 60 per week
