We are a family-oriented dental office in the Hyde Park Square and we are looking for a kind, team-oriented dental assistant to join our team. Our mission is to provide quality dental care while creating a great patient experience. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and strong customer service skills. 5 weeks PTO/vacation per year. New grads welcome to apply!
In addition to dental assisting skills, office management skills necessary, including answering phone calls/scheduling, explaining treatment plans to patients, and calling insurances as needed to verify coverage and orthodontic benefits. Efficiency with digital scanning a plus, but even if no experience, we are willing to teach a great team member!

Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8-5pm
- 1 Saturday 8-2pm per month
Responsibilities:
- Positive attitude and being coachable essential.
- Assist chairside, facilitating effective and comfortable treatment of patient.
- Review schedule and anticipate needs in advance.
- Able to use OPEN DENTAL software efficiently (after 1-2 week learning curve)
- Able to scan patients with Itero Scanner, take digital Xrays, and intra-oral photos as needed.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and skills, such as digital scanning, fabricating temporary crowns, coronal polishing, etc.
- Willing to complete coronal polishing CE if necessary
- Perform functions in accordance with the applicable state’s Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties.
- Record and maintain accurate dental records, including entering treatment plans and starting note, when applicable.
- Operatory preparation, Keep supplies in operatory stocked.
- Able to prepare operatory with necessary tray/equipment in timely manner.
- Maintaining and sterilizing dental instruments.
- Adherence to policies and regulations relating to OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA.
- Self-motivated with emphasis on patient health and satisfaction, ensuring positive patient experience.
- Able to communicate effectively and respectfully to patients, family members, and team members.
- Team-oriented and with positive attitude
- Willingness to help improve patient experience when opportunity arises, such as scheduling patients and filling gaps in schedule.
- Able to perform other duties as assigned.
License/Certification:
- Certified Dental Assistant (Required)
- Radiology license (Required)
