Dental Assistant Trainee (Bilingual - English/Spanish)
No Experience Required – Paid Training Provided
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, motivated, and bilingual individual (English/Spanish) interested in launching a career as a Dental Assistant. No prior experience is needed—just a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn. You will receive paid, hands-on training under the supervision of experienced dentists and licensed dental assistants.
Upon successful completion of the training program and obtaining licensure, a permanent position may be offered based on mutual agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during exams and various dental procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic protocols.
- Take X-rays after completing a radiology certification course.
- Record patient vital signs and update electronic health records using dental software (e.g., Epic).
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Support front-office duties including appointment scheduling and patient flow.
- Operate 3D scanners to capture dental impressions as needed.
- Provide support during pediatric procedures by fostering a warm and reassuring environment.
- Practice four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance procedural efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- No prior dental experience required – we’ll train you!
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute by driving to both of our locations in Roxbury and Waltham, MA.
- Reliable team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Previous experience in customer service is a plus.
- Friendly and approachable; able to engage in casual conversation to put patients at ease.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
