Dental Hygiene Clinic Coordinator

Position Overview:
Pima Medical Institute is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygiene Clinic Coordinator to oversee clinical operations and ensure the highest standards of education and patient care. This role is pivotal in shaping the next generation of dental hygiene professionals through faculty mentorship, student guidance, and clinical administration.
Primary Responsibilities:
Faculty Management & Development
Assist in recruitment and onboarding of clinical faculty
Serve as mentor and resource for clinical instructors
Conduct regular faculty training and calibration sessions
Facilitate weekly clinical faculty meetings
Support Clinical Director in faculty performance evaluations
Student Instruction & Advising
Develop and implement clinical orientation programs
Create and manage daily clinic assignment schedules
Provide didactic instruction as needed
Conduct student competency assessments
Administer midterm and final clinical advisement sessions
Clinical Operations Management
Supervise daily clinic activities and patient care
Maintain clinical evaluation and tracking systems
Monitor compliance with clinical policies and procedures
Coordinate with Clinical Director on operational needs
Participate in clinic committee meetings
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from accredited institution
Current dental hygienist or dentist license/certification
3+ years clinical experience (preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dental software
Strong organizational and leadership abilities
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $70,935 - $88,670 annually
