Shandley Kane Dental is looking for an ambitious front desk associate to join our growing team. This position is full time. Candidate must have AT LEAST 3 years dental experience, be comfortable with dental terminology and procedures, and proficient with Dentrix software. Candidate needs to be professional, friendly, motivated, and able to work well with others.
Skills need to include but not limited to:

· Good working knowledge of dental insurance, pre-estimates, claim submission, treatment planner in Dentrix

Rate is dependent on experience $18-24 per hour
Hours: 5-day work week (Wednesday & Saturdays alternate)
Monday 8:30-5:30
Tuesday 8:30-5:30
Wednesday 6:30-1:30 (Alternate with Saturday)
Thursday 6:30-3:30
Friday 6:30-1:30
Saturday 6:30-1:30 (Alternate with Wednesday)

Responsibilities
- Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently.
- Complete insurance verification and pre-estimates to help prepare patients for the expected costs of treatment
- Facilitate financial discussions with patients to help them understand the patient portion and to establish a financial agreement or payment plan.
- Collaborate with other office team members to ensure smooth office operations and enhance patient experience.
- Manage appointment scheduling and confirm patient visits using dental software systems.
- Answer multi-line phone systems and respond to patient inquiries regarding dental services and procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and handle medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
