As a Senior Product Associate in Business Banking Deposit Product, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success. This role will have a focus on Debit Card product management but will also have responsibilities across the broader Business Banking Deposit product organization. Job responsibilities
- Lead the Debit product strategy for business clients (Business Banking, Private Banking, Corporate and Investment Banking), research and solution client issues (e.g., production issues, banker feedback), and partner across the bank to influence priorities and ensure awareness of potential impacts
- Advance initiatives toward execution – Take priorities and turn them into roadmap-ready items through partnerships with teams like Data & Analytics, Design, Architecture, Legal and Compliance, and others
- Influence prioritization of initiatives with Debit Area Products by developing support for each initiative and championing them across various evaluations
- Ensure awareness through effective partnerships across the bank – Consistently attend and hold partner forums to both provide awareness of activities being conducted in the BB (Business Banking) Debit space that may impact key stakeholders, and receive awareness of items that may impact BB (Business Banking) debit
- Provide leadership and support for client issues as they arise – Act as a subject matter expert to address feedback and complaints from bankers, loop into production issues and ensure business clients are addressed in the solution, and act as a vocal advocate of mitigating gaps in service or products
- Administrative support and oversight – Update and provide support for key administrative activities such as branch policy and procedure updates and certifications, product reference guide updates, and marketing material sign-off
- Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
- Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
- Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
- 3 minimum years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
- Experience with Debit Card or Credit Card products
