Job Overview
The Court Clerk plays a vital role in the judicial system, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of court proceedings. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Court Clerk is responsible for maintaining court records, assisting with legal documentation, and providing excellent customer service to court visitors.
Duties
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate court records and files.
- Draft legal documents and assist in the preparation of case files for litigation.
- Organize and manage office operations, ensuring all paperwork is processed in a timely manner.
- Conduct research as needed to support case management and legal proceedings.
- Provide customer service by answering inquiries from the public, attorneys, and other court personnel.
- Assist in the scheduling of court dates if need be
- Ensure compliance with legal procedures and regulations related to court operations.
Experience
Requires great customer service skills, data entry, basic office skills, accuracy, and use of MS Office as well as a willingness to learn our Contexte Court software. Multitasking a must. Must be dependable.
