The Development Associate II is responsible for maintaining and growing the annual fund of a division of the Franciscan Health Foundation. This position focuses primarily on individual gifts up to $5,000. The Development Associate II expands the information in the donor database, and communicates with both internal and external prospects and donors via letters, in-person meetings, community events, and various Foundation events. The position plays a vital role in the stewardship efforts of the divisional Foundation.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Works closely with Marketing to develop and coordinate all donor and prospect communication with support from public relations including mailings, case collateral (brochures, pledge forms, one-pagers), and stewardship items.

- Manages a portfolio of major gift donors and prospects; ensures prospects and donors are moving through the appropriate prospect cycle.
- Motivates hospital coworkers to support the Foundation by providing a variety of giving options that appeal to coworker interests.
- Communicates with internal and external prospects and donors via letters, in-person meetings, community events, and various Foundation events.
- Produces and manages donor/prospect reports and lists to support development activities, as needed; assures integrity of data, records, and reports.
- Assists with managing the divisional Foundation donor database, including maintenance of donor records, donor information updates, and data clean up; ensures gifts are acknowledged in a timely manner.
- Manages the logistics of the foundation’s annual campaign including donor communications, volunteer coordination, events, employee campaigns, and donor stewardship; collaborates with assigned foundation staff and volunteers to coordinate fundraising activities, such as events, cause marketing programs, joint public relations and marketing activities, and joint fundraising efforts with community-based organizations.
Qualifications
- Required Bachelor's Degree Marketing/communications, fundraising, non-profit management, or related field
- Required 1 year Fundraising, Communications, and/or Public Relations
- Preferred 3 years Development, Fundraising, Communications, and/or Public Relations
